Congressman Ron Klein (FL-22) joined a majority of his colleagues to pass the final version of an economic stimulus plan which will save or create over 200,000 jobs in the state of Florida. This bipartisan legislation contains a balance of tax cuts and targeted spending on local priorities to get the economy moving again. The bill received little support from Capital Hill Republicans. The majority of Republicans Governors however support the bill inluding Florida’s Charlie Crist.
